No One Is Happy That Snoop Dogg Is Playing Crypto Ball

As Trump 2.0 steamrolls its way to the Whitehouse, musicians of all stripes have shown their support. The Village People and Carrie Underwood have been tapped to perform at the inauguration, and on Friday, January 17, Snoop Dogg shocked fans by dropping a set at the Crypto Ball held for the President Elect.

Hosted by Trump’s AI and Crypto Czar, David Sacks, the Crypto Ball is one of the many pop up parties around the DC area that happened over the weekend. It’s kind of like a mini SXSW but with less military sponsorship. 

In 2017, Snoop called artists who agreed to perform at Trump’s first inauguration “Uncle Tom-ass n****s” and referred to Trump voters as “stupid motherfuckers.” That’s all changed now, and in 2021, Snoop said that he had “nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”

We have entered the paycheck era.
