Los Campesinos! Play Tiptoe Through The True Bits For The First Time Live

At Popnoise, we’re big fans of Los Campesinos!, and their latest album, "All Hell," has solidified its place in our hearts as one of the standout records of last year. On Friday, February 14, in London’s Troxy, the band gave fans an unforgettable night full of firsts, including a rendition of the long-awaited "Tiptoe Through The True Bits."

Originally recorded for their 2011 album, "Hello Sadness," this gem was left unreleased until it found a home on their blog in 2012. It wasn’t until 2021 that “Tiptoe Through The True Bits” was officially shared with the world, thanks to their b-sides collection, "Whole Damn Body." Los Campesinos! are true music nerds, so they knew whipping this bad boy out for their two-night stand at the Troxie.

The set didn’t just stop there; Los Campesinos! also pulled out live debuts for tracks like "The Coin-Op Guillotine," "II. Music For Aerial Toll House," and "III. Surfing A Contrail," in what we can only call a victory lap. They even treated the audience to "In Medias Res," a fan favorite that hadn’t been played since 2020. Overall the band played 40 different tracks across two nights in London, sounds exhausting! LC! deserves a much needed pint.
