Pulp & LCD Soundsystem Team Up for Ultimate Hipster Nostalgia Fest at the Hollywood Bowl

Get ready, Gen X and elder millennial music nerds—your dream double bill is coming to Los Angeles. Pulp and LCD Soundsystem, two of the most beloved acts from the “cool older sibling” section of your record collection, have announced a pair of co-headlining shows at the Hollywood Bowl on September 25 and 26.

This isn’t just a random matchup; these bands share a history. LCD’s James Murphy produced Pulp’s 2012/2013 comeback single “After You,” and Murphy also worked alongside Pulp’s late bassist Steve Mackey on Arcade Fire’s Everything Now. So if you’ve ever danced in a dingy indie club to Common People or All My Friends, consider this your chance to experience peak hipster synergy live and in person.

Want in? You’ll need to move fast. Presale registration is open now, with a special presale running from Wednesday, April 2 at 10 a.m. PT through Thursday, April 3 at 10 a.m. PT. (Pro tip: AmEx cardholders get their own presale on April 1.) If you miss those, the general public onsale kicks off Friday, April 4 at 10 a.m. PT.

Dust off your vintage band tees, prep your best ironic dance moves, and get ready to dance yourself clean under the Hollywood stars.
