Rilo Kiley Back Together For Just Like Heaven 2025

It’s finally happening. Indie rock/emo/2000s mix tape mainstays Rilo Kiley are officially back together for at least one major festival this year. We’ve been keeping an eye on Rilo Kiley for a few months; first when they started posting new perch on Bandcamp, but online speculation pointed towards a particularly curious blocked out band name on the Kilby Block Party lineup announcement, and the band changed their image on streaming services, which everyone knows means that something is happening.

But now we have direct confirmation that Jenny Lewis and the boys are getting back together for what looks to be a few festival dates. Just Like Heaven, the Los Angeles festival focused that aims its nostalgia gun at blog era millennials, has posted its 2025 lineup on a billboard in LA, reportedly on Sunset in Echo Park. Vampire Weekend are listed as headliners, which makes sense, with Rilo Kiley listed as direct support. A few other bands included are Bloc Party (nice), TV On The Radio (very cool), and the Drums (okay! sure!) And it looks like Slowdive has a guest spot which should rule.

Just Like Heaven will be happening on May 10 at the golf course Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. There’s no word yet how the current wildfires will affect the festival.
